🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️200th Charity Fairy Celebration

Our 200th Charity Fairy is finally here. Once again we would like to congratulate Jungkook, however we would also like to take this opportunity to also thank all the fans who have supported their idols and helped them to become our Charity Fairies since 2016.

To celebrate this very special occasion in CHOEAEDOL’s history, we have gathered some numbers, and let’s looked back to all 200 Charity Fairies together.

In the very beginning, Charity Fairy was not actually called Charity Fairy. Instead, it was called Charity Hero. Also, in the past, Charity Fairy/Hero titles were not given to idols on their birthday, debut anniversary, and comeback, etc. Rather, two titles were given to a group and an individual idol who gained the highest votes every month. And, starting from June 2018, 4 Charity Fairy titles were given to boy groups, girl groups, solo male, and female idols, similar to Charity Angels we have nowadays.

This set of rules or regulations didn’t change until 2020, as at the beginning of 2020, we have finally adopted the current Charity Fairy rules that our users are most familiar with. Idols who receive 55,555,555 or more votes on their special days, such as birthday, debut anniversary, comeback and every 100th day, will become Charity Fairies. And we would donation 500,000 won to a charity in the names of the Charity Fairies.

It has been a fabulous run for us, and we hope it is also meaningful to our users. From January 2016 to September 2021, 5 years and 9 months, it is definitely not a short time, and we are happy to have our users with us.
