EXO is the 53rd Charity angel. No.1 among all boybands! |Donation certificate

EXO got 2998 points and became the Charity Angel of February. The votes are tallied from January 17 to February 15. This made EXO be the 53th Charity Angel and rank the first among boy bands in South Korea. The number 2998 is NOT EASY after all. You are allowed to miss only two times(two days) of daily ranking No.1 in order to get the number 2998. So it means that EXO was on the very top except for 2 days(max) out of 30 days of daily rankings. Congratulations EXO! Their rankings are followed by BTS who has collected 2972 points and NU’EST who got 2923 points during the same period.

What is Charity Angel?

Every day, after the voting time(until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced on every 11th of the month(for the individual idols, for groups its 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced.

EXO’s donation amount now reaches 21,500,000KRW. It is the 54th time for EXO to be awarded as the Charity angel. They’ve been awarded as angels and fairies total of 43 times now! This is a remarkable number since the first one’s record is only 4 to catch up. Congratulations once again to EXO and EXO-Ls. CHOEAEDOL support you guys no matter what!

45,000 fans have voted their valentines 💝 Top 10 boy/girl idols with high votes.

Hello Aedols 🙂 Celebrating valentines, we did an interesting poll in CHOEAEDOL Pick(which is CHOEAEDOL exclusive poll 😉)!

Totaling 45,000 fans have participated in this poll which is tallied from February 6 to 12 under the title ‘Which boy/girl idol is your valentine?’.

Wonder how the CHOEAEDOL Donation system works? Here’s where the charity goes to! 🗳

This image down below is the latest version of the donation history done by CHOEAEDOL in the name of various idols who have become charity angels or fairies. You guys all know the CHOEAEDOL rule that every time an idol becomes a charity angel or a fairy then 500,000 won($410) is donated in the name of that idol, right?

As you can see, starting from 2015, totaling 280 times of charities are donated in the name of stars including Kang Daniel, EXO, BTS, Tzuyu, Sungkyu, BTOB, Xiumin, Lee Chaeyeon, Park Jihoon, Jimin, and so on. So 143,000,000 won is the total amount of donation done through CHOEAEDOL. This amount can be converted into dollar amount of 117,456 US dollars. 🤭

Until now, we have donated about $117,456 in two charity organizations which are Kids & Future foundation and Miral Welfare foundation. (You can find further info about these organizations in the links below.) Although since last month, we are fully donating through Miral Welfare foundation only, until last year, we donated to Kids& Future foundation if it was the Charity fairy case, and to Miral Welfare foundation if it was the Charity angel case. So Aedols, check if your favorite star ever won Charity fairy or Charity angel, let’s be proud.

Especially by the charity donated through Kids&Future foundation, the charity is used to help kids who are in difficulties economically and who need a medical support due to the same reason.

And by the charity went to Miral foundation, we helped disabled children and elderly people living alone. The charity is used to help them medically, especially supporting the hospital and surgery expenses.

In 2020, CHOEAEDOL planning to expand the project to the global scale, helping the people in need in the regions all over the world.
