359th Charity Fairy – WOODZ
Happy Birthday, WOODZ! Also congratulations on winning another Charity Fairy title from CHOEAEDOL. #HAPPY_WOODZ_DAY
August 6 was WOODZ’s birthday, so MOODZ celebrated the special day by voting and helping him to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 61,711,960 votes on August 5. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes that our Charity Fairy threshold. WOODZ has received his 3rd Charity Fairy title including 359th Charity Fairy from CHOEAEDOL so far.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of WOODZ. From May to July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees. Since this August, the donation is going to be used for Myanmar students whose education system collapsed in a military coup last year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
WOODZ made his comeback with the release of his fourth mini album ‘Colourful Trauma’ last May. The five-track record includes the title track ‘I Hate You’. Meanwhile, WOODZ was also featured as a special DJ for ‘Idol Radio SS2’, an idol special co-produced by MBC Radio and Global Fandom Plaform Universe. He performed at the outdoor music festival ‘PEAK FESTIVAL 2022’ for the first time since his debut. He also released the song ‘About You’ which is the theme song for the TVING Original Series “Yumi’s Cells 2”.
By the way, on August 5, he turned on V LIVE to celebrate his birthday with MOODZ. He wanted to show appreciation and gratitute to MOODZ. WOODZ looked very happy to celebrate his birthday with MOODZ together 🙂
On July 14, he announced the upcoming showcase on social media. WOODZ is preparing to meet with Thai fans and announce the concert ‘WOODZ LIVE COLORFUL TRAUMA in BANGKOK’ which will be held on September 3, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
