The Queens Are Back
Summer Queen Red Velvet is back after one year and eight months.
Their latest album “Queendom” is their first summer album in two years. Red Velvet members have gathered back together after their solo activities.
The new album is consists of 6 songs, including the title track Queendom and five sidetracks.
Last Monday, Red Velvet, via SM Entertainment, express the feeling regarding this comeback.
“It is happy and exciting to finally come back after a long time,” said Red Velvet, “we are nervous like when we were debut.”
“From this album, you can feel the more mature vocals from our members and the unique and vibrant colors from Red Velvet.
“We prepared all six songs with excitement, so we hope our audience the hot summer comfortably. We hope we can deliver positive energy to people.”
Regarding the title song, Red Velvet explained, “it is a song that contains the massage of us being the Kings and Queens in our lives, and we shine brighter when we are together, and we hope our audience will gain strength and be happy.”
“[We hope our audience could] gain back confidence and positive mindset during difficult times.
“It is an exciting song to listen to when walking with earphones on.
“[The song also comes with] cute choreography that everyone could easily follow, we hope we can dance happily together on stage.”

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
