178th Charity Fairy – j-hope
Congratulations j-hope of BTS for becoming CHOEAEDOL’s 178th Charity Fairy, celebrating the special occasion of his 10000 days. On July 5, ARMYs helped j-hope to secure first place on CHOEAEDOL’s daily chart. With 67,326,083 hearts, voting tokens in CHOEAEDOL, j-hope became our latest Charity Fairy, and thus, in j-hope’s name, we are going to donate ₩500(USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. This is j-hope’s 2nd Charity Fairy title. We would like to thank all the ARMYs who always support j-hope and BTS, also congratulate j-hope once again.

Permission To Dance
Riding on another phenomenal hit, Butter, j-hope and his fellow BTS members are going to come back this Friday, July 9.
The new single “Butter” is consists of their latest global hit Butter and Permission to Dance, a collaboration with Ed Sheeran, plus the instrumental version of both songs.
To celebrate this special occasion, BTS is going to participate in a special talk show on NAVER NOW. on July 9. According to reports, they are going to showcase their stage of Permission to Dance for the first time there.
Critics and the audience are holding high expectations for the new single, as Butter is making history on Billboard, topping the Hot 100 chart five weeks consecutively.
Including Butter, there are only 11 songs that have come first on the Hot 100 charts for five weeks or more. Within those 11 songs, only Butter and One Sweet Day by Miriah Carey and Boyz II Men are songs that featured multiple artists. According to the data from Billboard, the song also attracted 27.6 million radio airplay audience impressions two weeks ago.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
