161st Charity Fairy – Park Jihoon
Congratulation Park Jihoon for becoming CHOEAEDOL’s 161st Charity Fairy on his birthday last weekend. To celebrate their idol’s birthday on May 29, Park Jihoon’s fans, MAYs, have gathered and voted their idols on CHOEAEDOL’s daily chart. On that day, Park Jihoon gained 155,751,402 hearts, the ballot CHOEAEDOL users use to vote for their idols. He passed the cutline of 55,555,555 and thus has become the latest Charity Fairy. ₩500(USD 440) will be donated in the name of Park Jihoon to MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. We are happy to see Park Jihoon become our Charity Fairy again for the 8th time. Congratulation, and MAYs’ good effort is much appreciated. Hope there is more to come.

At A Distance Spring is Green
Last Friday, it was announced that Park Jihoon is going to be featured in the upcoming KBS Monday-Tuesday drama “At A Distance Spring is Green”. This drama is based on a webtoon with the same name. It is a story about the growth of a group of 20s, when they experience the fantasized yet, in reality, difficult lives of college students. A campus version of Misaeng. This is a story about a group of 20s who, when they are being told to be grown-ups, yet never feel like being adults inside them; when they were being packaged as young, yet they no longer called themselves young anymore.
In the drama, Park Jihoon’s character, Yeo Joon, is the most popular guy on the campus. With a handsome outlook, perfect personality, and a well-to-do family, it makes people wonder the secrets inside this 20-year-old college student and the inevitable changes he has to go through when building relationships with people around him.
MAYs must be so eager to see their idols come back to the TV screen after his last TV drama, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency on JTBC. His new drama will be aired on KBS 2TV every Monday and Tuesday starting from June 14.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
