129th Charity Fairy – Rosé
Congratulation Rosé for becoming our 129th Charity Fairy. To celebrate Rosé’s solo debut day, Mar 12, 2021, fans in CHOEAEDOL have come together and voted for Rosé using their hearts. At the end, she has received 57,340,097 hearts and thus successfully becoming our Charity Fairy. ₩500k ($440) will thus be donated to charity in the name of Rosé. This is her forth time being our Charity Fairy. What a way to celebrate Rosé’s solo debut. Thank you all the fans, and congratulation once again to our 129th Charity Fairy Rosé.

Long-Anticipated Solo Debut
The long-anticipated solo debut of Rosé of BLACKPINK has finally arrived, as Rosé has released her album “R” on Mar 12.
As the title song of this first solo album, On The Ground would surely be a meaningful song for Rosé. YG Entertainment has stated that the lyrics of this song is about the eagerness of achieving more but at the same time never giving up the important value inside.
“I worked my whole life, just to get high, just to realize, everything I need is on the ground.” When explaining the meaning behind the song, Rosé said, “I could easily match the song to my life. I’ve been on a run since starting off as a trainee but as I live, I sometimes came to question the motive (of my life). I felt this line somehow speaks for me and felt there was also a lot to learn from it.”
The definitely echoes with us a lot. And no matter it is to Rosé or to everyone, we can all seek comfort and support from this song.
“I came to look back at myself while preparing for the album. I again felt that I get healed through music and learn from it a lot.”
“I hope that the people who listen to my music also relate to it and got comforted,” she said.
We also see some familiar faces in the production of this title song, as YG Entertainment has summoned TEDDY and 24, two of their best producers who have been working with BLACKPINK since the very beginning.
The other song is this album is Gone, which is about the emotions and minds of settling of a departed lover. It is a song Rosé recorded 2 years and ago and she would like to share with fans because she likes this song a lot.
“The two songs were naturally chosen. I don’t think too much about it. It happened like fate,” said Rosé
At the time of writing, 3 days after Rosé dropped her song, the music video has already gained also 70 million views and has already sweeps iTunes charts in 51 nations.
