598th Charity Fairy – Jinho
Happy Birthday, Jinho! Also congratulations on winning the FIRST Charity Fairy title from CHOEAEDOL. Shout out to Jinho and UNIVERSE.
April 17 was Jinho’s birthday, and UNIVERSE celebrated his birthday by voting and helping Jinho to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 66,374,967 votes on April 17. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes than our Charity Fairy threshold. Jinho has received his first Charity Fairy title including the 518th Charity Fairy from CHOEAEDOL so far.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Jinho. From May to June, the donation is going to be used for people with audiovisual disabilities. The donation will be used for customized education, support for independent living, network construction, and awareness improvement projects so that the people with audiovisual disabilities can come out of the world.
It seems like UNIVERSE is going to become one of the most passionate fandoms on CHOEAEDOL this year. We are so grateful to see UNIVERSE supporting Jinhho using CHOEAEDOL! Jinho has been casted for ‘A Thousand Blues’. He will be playing the character, Collie. The show will begin from 12 – 26 May 2024 at the CJ Towol Theatre – Seoul Arts Center.

So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy will be given to the idol who receives more than 55,555,555 daily votes in the CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only those idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback day and debut anniversary) during the month can compete for the title of Charity Fairy.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we will donate 500,000 KRW in their name. You will see the donation certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
