January 16 was Jennie’s birthday, so BLINKs celebrated her anniversary by voting for her and helping her become the number one on the CHOEAEDOL daily rankings! She received 57,211,044 votes on that day. It was more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold. This is Jennie’s 12th title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL will make a donation of ₩500,000 on behalf of Jennie to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity organisation that comprehensively deals with problems related to disabilities that may occur in a wide range of social areas, including physical and mental disabilities. From May to June, the donation will be used for people with audiovisual disabilities. The donation will be used for customized education, independent living support, network building and awareness raising projects so that people with audiovisual disabilities can come out of the world.

Jennie marked her birthday by revealing parts of her new office in a video she posted on her YouTube channel the same day. The office is of her own label, Odd Atelier (OD), which she founded in November for her solo activities. “I’m planning to film a lot of content here in this place,” Jennie said in the video. “I feel that a lot of joyful things will happen in the future.”
To kick off this exciting new season of the music talk show “The Seasons: Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet”, Jennie started off the list of star guests who visited the studio and presented wonderful performances on the red carpet!💖

So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy will be given to the idol who receives more than 55,555,555 daily votes in the CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only those idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback day and debut anniversary) during the month can compete for the title of Charity Fairy.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we will donate 500,000 KRW in their name. You will see the donation certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
