August 8 was The 8’s birthday, so CARAT celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one male solo artist on our daily rankings! He received 65,962,816 votes on August 8. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, The 8 has received his 2nd title from CHOEAEDOL. Congratulations again 🥳
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of The 8. From May to July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees. Since this August, the donation is going to be used for Myanmar students whose education system collapsed in a military coup last year. From this September, the donation is used for vulnerable groups and handicapped child in South Korea.

It was The 8’s birthday, so he turned on Weverse live for CARAT to celebrate it together. The 8 chatted a lot with CARAT and it was so cute. He also wanted to show appreciation and gratitude to CARAT. How sweet of him! The 8 looked very happy to celebrate his birthday with CARAT together.
Seventeen released its 11th EP, “Seventeenth Heaven”.
The EP consists of eight tracks: the main single with a Korean title that translates to “God of Music,” “SOS,” “Back 2 Back” and “Monster.” Member Woozi produced the album, while five other members of the 13-piece group ― S.coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon ― co-composed or co-wrote the lyrics of the album’s tracks. “God of Music” is a soul funk song based on a combination of cheerful synthesizers and brass sounds. It contains the energy of happiness that Seventeen depicts. SEVENTEEN has wrapped up a perfect week of music show wins with a fifth trophy for their new title track “God of Music”!

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
