498th Charity Fairy – Hui
Happy birthday, Hui! Also congratulations on winning the 3rd Charity Fairy title from CHOEAEDOL. Shout out to Hui and UNIVERSE.
August 28 was Hui’s birthday, and UNIVERSE celebrated the special day by voting and helping Hui to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 136,615,680 votes on August 28. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes than our Charity Fairy threshold. He is the one who received the most votes in August so far. Hui has received his 3rd Charity Fairy title including the 498th Charity Fairy from CHOEAEDOL so far.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Hui. From May to June, the donation is going to be used for people with audiovisual disabilities. The donation will be used for customized education, support for independent living, network construction, and awareness improvement projects so that the people with audiovisual disabilities can come out of the world.
It seems like UNIVERSE is going to become one of the most passionate fandoms on CHOEAEDOL this year. We are so grateful to see UNIVERSE supporting Hui using CHOEAEDOL! It was Hui’s birthday, so he turned on Weverse live for UNIVERSE to celebrate it together. Hui chatted a lot with UNIVERSE and it was so cute. He also wanted to show appreciation and gratitude to UNIVERSE. Hui looked very happy to celebrate his birthday with UNIVERSE together.
PENTAGON will release its sixth mini album “PADO.” The sixth Japanese PENTAGON mini album “PADO”, which will be released on the 30th, has a total of five songs, including the title track “Pado (wave to me)” as well as “Loop (L∞P)”, “詩 (Shh) (Aug ver.)“, “Billie Jean” and “Made in heaven“.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
