455th Charity Fairy – Mingyu
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mingyu! Congratulations on winning his 3rd CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy on his birthday. Shout out to Mingyu and CARAT!
April 6 was Mingyu’s birthday, so CARAT celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one male solo artist on our daily rankings! He received 56,663,380 votes on April 6. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Mingyu has received his 3rd title from CHOEAEDOL. Congratulations again 🥳
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Mingyu. From May to July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees. Since this August, the donation is going to be used for Myanmar students whose education system collapsed in a military coup last year. From this September, the donation is used for vulnerable groups and handicapped child in South Korea. It was Mingyu’s birthday, so he turned on Weverse live for CARAT to celebrate it together. Mingyu chatted a lot with CARAT and it was so cute. He also wanted to show appreciation and gratitude to CARAT. How sweet of him! Mingyu looked very happy to celebrate his birthday with CARAT together.

This June, SEVENTEEN finished WORLD TOUR “BE THE SUN” successfully. They performed in North America and various Asia countries!
Only a few weeks away from their awaited comeback with FML, their 10th mini-album set for release on April 24. The project follows the release of their fourth studio album, Face the Sun, last May, with a reissue that followed in July.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
