436th Charity Fairy – So Junghwan
Happy Birthday to So Junghwan and congratulations on winning his 2nd CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy. Shout out to all TREASURE MAKERs and So Junghwan!
February 18 was So Junghwan’s birthday, so TREASURE MAKERs celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 56,793,141 votes on February 18. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, So Junghwan has received his 2nd title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of So Junghwan. From May to July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees. Since this August, the donation is going to be used for Myanmar students whose education system collapsed in a military coup last year. From this September, the donation is used for vulnerable groups and handicapped child in South Korea.
It seems like TREASURE MAKER is going to become one of the most passionate fandom on CHOEAEDOL this year. We are so grateful to see TREASURE MAKER supporting Doyoung and TREASURE using CHOEAEDOL! On February 18, he posted on Twitter to express his gratitude to TREASURE MAKER. He said that “Thank you so much for celebrating my last birthday as a teenager! I thinnk it has become another memory where I can feel that I am a loved person! I’m always thankful and I’ll come back with a more cool TREASURE in the future, so please look forward to it! I love you”.
Of course, So Junghwan turned on Weverse LIVE to celebrate his birthday. He chatted a lot with TREASURE MAKRER and it was so cute. He also wanted to show appreciation and gratitude to TREASURE MAKRER. TREASURE members were also in the video and they looked very happy to celebrate Junghwan’s birthday together 🙂
TREASURE finished Japanese arena tour from last November to this January. YG Entertainment announced that Treasure will start its Asia tour in Taipei on March 4 then move on to Kuala Lumpur on March 11, Jakarta on March 18 and 19, Bangkok on April 1, Singapore on April 8, Manila on April 15 and Macau on April 22.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
