374th Charity Fairy – Junkyu

September 9 was Junkyu’s 23rd birthday, so TREASURE MAKERs celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 65,908,247 votes on September 9. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Junkyu has received his 2nd title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Junkyu. From May to July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees. Since this August, the donation is going to be used for Myanmar students whose education system collapsed in a military coup last year.
It seems like TREASURE MAKER is going to become one of the most passionate fandom on CHOEAEDOL this year. We are so grateful to see TREASURE MAKER supporting their idols using CHOEAEDOL! New Album is Coming Soon
On September 9, he posted on Twitter to express his gratitude. He said that it was the happiest birthday in his life! He won’t forget this year’s birthday as well 🙂
It was Junkyu’s birthday, so he turned on Weverse live for TREASURE MAKER to celebrate it together. Junkyu chatted a lot with TREASURE MAKER and it was so cute.☺️And Haruto, Asahi and Yoshi celebrated Junkyu’s birthday together! Junkyu looked very happy to celebrate his birthday with TREASURE MAKER and TREASURE members together. And also TREASURE MAKER was so touched because he turned on live on his birthday for TREASURE MAKER.
On September 1, YG Entertainment announced TREASURE will release their second mini album “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO” next month. And also, TREASURE will be holding a concert in Seoul on November 12 and 13. This concert will be filled with an enriched set list with their new charming songs!
By the way, unfortunately, TREASURE has been promoted as a 10-member group due to personal reasons and the health of the individual members. Hope every TREASURE member will be healthy and can meet all together on the stage. Can’t wait to see TREASURE on the stage with the new album! The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
