Congratulations EXO on becoming CHOEAEDOL’s 81st Charity Angel!
With the endless support from EXO-L, EXO has successfully held onto the first place on CHOEAEDOL’s 30-day cumulative chart with 2985 points.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a donation in the name of EXO. We are doing to donate ₩500k (USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. In May and June, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees.

The Top5 ranking has changed from the last month. EXO became Charity Angel with 2985 points accumulated in the last 30 days. BTS came second with 2981 points. MONSTA X was in third with 2933 points. Going up one ranking, Stray Kids was in fourth with 2890 points. SEVENTEEN came in the Top5 since it have gone 3 ranking up with 2834 points.

Okay. What is Charity Angel?
Every day, after the voting time (until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced every 11th of the month (for the individual idols, for groups it’s 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced
New reward for the winner of charity angel from 2021
Starting from January 2021, Charity Angel rewards will be added~ No only donating to charities in the name of the winner, we will also hang a subway billboard for the Charity angels! For instance, this is the subway billboard ad of our May Charity angel.
