321st Charity Fairy – Chaeyoung
Happy Birthday to Chaeyoung and congratulations on winning her second CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy. Thank you all ONCEs!
Last Saturday was Chaeyoung’s birthday. ONCEs celebrated her birthday by voting and helping her to become the number one female soloist on our daily rankings! She received 59,429,123 votes yesterday, and by having more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Chaeyoung has received her second title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Chaeyoung.
It seems like ONCEs are going to become a rather active fandom on CHOEAEDOL this year. The fandom has already helped all members of TWICE win at least one Charity Fairy title each from us. And Chaeyoung is the 7th member who’ve got at least two Charity Fairy titles in TWICE. Congratulations, and we are looking forward to more title winners. TWICE is having a concert in Tokyo Dome, the largest dome in Japan. It is three days long (April 23 – 25), and TWICE is the first K-POP girl group that has a concert in Tokyo Dome three days in a row.
Out of her busy schedule, Chaeyoung turned on V LIVE to meet ONCE and say thank you after the first concert ended. During the live streaming, Chaeyoung said she was so glad to have lots of celebration ads, and it is so sad that she can’t take proof pictures at every ad place. So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
