312th Charity Fairy – Mingyu
Happy Birthday to Mingyu and congratulations on winning his second CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy. Thank you all CARATs!
Yesterday was Mingyu’s birthday. CARATs celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one male soloist on our daily rankings! He received 56,765,811 votes yesterday, and by having more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Mingyu has received his second title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Mingyu.
It seems like CARATs are going to become a rather active fandom on CHOEAEDOL this year. The fandom has already helped all members of SEVENTEEN win one Charity Fairy title each from us. Next month, SEVENTEEN will have its 7th debut anniversary, but SEVENTEEN never rests. There is a lot of news that CARAT must watch!
SEVENTEEN held SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND, the 6th fan meeting, from March 25 to 27. On the last day of the fan meeting, SEVENTEEN released the new logo of SEVENTEEN and CARAT, and previewed the new project as TEAM SVT, the one team of SEVENTEEN and CARAT.
The first step of the project is the first English single, Darl+ing. It is going to be released on April 15. According to PLEDIS, ‘+’ in the title has a special meaning. The English single is a pre-release song for the 4th regular album coming soon in May.
Recently, SEVENTEEN bought new team rings. SEVENTEEN customized the team rings as a token of their debut, and they have changed rings every time SEVENTEEN releases a new regular album. This is the 5th ring. There is a video clip of the new rings ceremony on YouTube.
However, Apple announced a collaboration with SEVENTEEN. Today(April 7), Apple Myeongdong, the largest Apple Store in Korea is open. And all members of SEVENTEEN will go there and explain the details of the collaboration.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
