Happy Birthday to Wonho and congratulations on winning his second CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy
Yesterday was Wonho’s birthday, and WENEE and fans celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one male soloist on our daily rankings! He received 61,693,320 votes yesterday, and by having more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Wonho has received his second title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Wonho.
It seems like WENEE is going to become a rather active fandom on CHOEAEDOL this year. The fandom has already helped Wonho win two Charity Fairy titles from us. OBSESSION
Wonho released his fist single album, <OBSESSION> on February 16. The album includes two songs: EYE ON YOU and SOMEBODY. Wonho participated in all of the songwriting, lyrics and arrangement for this album, so we can check his ability as all-rounder through this album.
According to Wonho, ‘EYE ON YOU’ has different sound that is not easy to see in K-POP songs. And It shows Wonho’s various charming point like dark, sexy, and powerful side.
However, Wonho is close to finishing up on <OBSESSION>. It’s so sad, but we would meet Wonho soon with another good song and performance. If you are curious about how Wonho has prepared for comeback, don’t miss this video clip!
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
