292nd Charity Fairy – Wendy
Congratulations Red Velvet Wendy on winning her 4th CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy title on February 21 , as it was her 28th birthday.
Yesterday ReVeluvs celebrated Wendy’s birthday, and they helped their idol to win another Charity Fairy by voting Wendy on CHOEAEDOL. At the end of the day, Wendy received 57,286,996 votes and, by surpassing the 55,555,555-votes threshold, Wendy became our Charity Fairy.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate, in the name of Wendy, ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.

Comeback as Red Velvet
It’s been 7 months since ‘Queendom’, but Wendy had busy days during the break of Red Velvet. Wendy has hosted the radio show, ‘Young Street’, and she became a winner of 2022 Korea First Brand Awards for radio DJ. On the other hand, Wendy re-debuted as ‘GOT the beat’ and showed us different charms.
But soon, we can see Wendy as the main vocalist of Red Velvet again! According to staff in SM Ent., Red Velvet is preparing a new album, and it will be released in March. It’s definitely true that Wendy’s voice makes our heart flutter, so the comeback is so anticipating.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
