288th Charity Fairy – j-hope
Congratulations BTS j-hope on winning his fifth CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy title on February 18, as it was his birth day.
Last Friday, ARMYs celebrated j-hope’s 29th birthdays, and they helped their idol to win another Charity Fairy by voting j-hope on CHOEAEDOL. At the end of the day, j-hope received 159,895,407 votes and, by surpassing the 55,555,555-votes threshold, j-hope became our Charity Fairy.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate, in the name of j-hope, ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.

Gwangju Hope Day Tour
Have you ever heard ‘K-POP Star Street’ in Gwangju, the city j-hope is from? There are lots to watch for K-POP fans. The most well-known one is the mural of the album cover of ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’, j-hope’s solo.
Meanwhile, Gwangju Tourism Organization has started an event tour ‘Gwangju Hope Day’ at K-POP Star Street to celebrate j-hope’s birthday. It will end on March 3.

So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
