268th Charity Fairy – Hyungwon
Happy birthday, Hyungwon! And congratulations on winning his first Charity Fairy!
MONBEBE celebrated Hyungwon’s birthday last Saturday on CHOEAEDOL by helping him to win his first Charity Fairy title. They did it by voting Hyungwon on CHOAEOL. On that day, with the help of MONBEBE, Hyungwon received 57,026,394 votes and, because he received more than 55,555,555 votes, became CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy for the first time.
Hence, in the name of Hyungwon, CHOAEDOL is going to donate ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.

Amid his birthday, last weekend, Korean media outlet STARNEWS published an article recapping Hyungwon’s growth in the last few years.
And indeed Hyungwon has grown a lot in many aspects, as the article pointed out. For instance, he was featured in Kakao TV’s musical drama Fly, Again and even record Picture, the first OST of the drama.
In Fatal love, the third full album of MONSTA X, Hyungwon even dipped his toe into music production, as he, for the first time, worked on producing his own song, responsible for songwriting, composing, and arranging the song Nobody Else.
After Nobody Else, Hyungwon continues his music production in later albums, making tracks such as BEBE, Secrets, and Mercy.
Last but not least, currently Hyungwon is partnering with his fellow MONSTA X member Joohoney to host the internet radio show IDOL RADIO SEASON 2, debuting as a radio DJ.
In the last few years, Hyungwon really presented himself as a multitalented idol. We are looking forward to seeing more from Hyungwon. Wish you have a great year ahead.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
