252nd Charity Fairy – NI-KI
Two days in a roll, we have other ENHYPEN members becoming CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy. Happy Birthday, NI-KI, congratulations.
NI-KI became our second Charity Fairy from ENHYPEN in two days, as fans celebrated his birthday on Dec 9. On CHOEAEDOL’s ENGENE voted for NI-KI and helped him to come first on the in-app daily chart. With 193,232,694 votes, NI-KI, not only was the number one male idol in our app yesterday, but he also became CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy for the first time.
CHOEADOL, thus, is going to make a ₩500k donation, in the name of NI-KI, to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.
Honestly, I personally didn’t expect two Charity Fairies for ENHYPEN back-to-back. Or on second thought, I should have expected that as ENGENE is a rather active and energetic fandom inside and outside CHOEAEDOL. We are so happy to have you all with us, and we hope that will last, just like the support from ENGENE towards ENHYPEN, which will definitely last forever. FNC Music Festival
ENHYPEN participated in Japan Fuji TV’s 2021 FNC Music Festival and gave fans a spectacular performance.
Last Wednesday, ENHYPEN was seen at the end-of-the-year TV music festival on Fuji TV.
In the show, ENHYPEN performed not only Tamed-Dashed, the title track of the first full album DIMENSION : DILEMMA, the group also covered BTS’s Permission to Dance.
To continue with the high-school theme of their last album, the group’s performance was staged at a school corridor set and members were wearing pullovers and jackets.
ENHYPEN has enormous popularity in Japan, of course, more or less, thanks to their Japanese member NI-KI. For instance, the album has achieved a rather splendid result on the Oricon chart in Japan. In particular, on the weekly Combined Albums Chart, in which, album sales, digital download, streaming count are tallied combinedly, ENHYPEN’s album came first with 125,455 points, breaking the group’s internal record.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
