251st Charity Fairy – Sunghoon
Congratulations Sunghoon, our ENHYPEN birthday boy yesterday, on winning his first CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy.
ENGENE celebrated the birthday of Sunghoon yesterday by helping their idol become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy for the first time, as they voted for Sunghoon on CHOEAEDOL and made him become the number one male idol yesterday. With 65,543,259 voted he received, Sunghoon also became CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy for the first time.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Sunghoon.
Sunghoon is the fourth ENHYPEN member to become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy. We are grateful to see ENGENE supporting their idols using CHOEAEDOL. 2021 is definitely a fruitful year for ENHYPEN, as they have won some big awards lately.
In this year’s Asia Artist Awards, ENHYPEN has won the Rookie of the Year award and Best Artist Award. It was their first time participating AAA.
And two days after AAA, the group won an even bigger award, as they have received the Global Rising Artist award in Melon Music Awards.
In both ceremonies, ENHYPEN paid tribute to their fans, ENGENE, thanking the fans for always supporting them, and hoping their performances could provide healing and hope to their fans.
This year ENHYPEN has published their first full album DIMENSION : DILEMMA in October, recording over a million copies sold, making them a million-seller in the rookie year.
The awards ENHYPEN are the perfect proof of how hard they have worked in their rookie year of 2021. We are looking forward to an even more successfully ENHYPEN in 2022.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
