246th Charity Fairy – NiziU
Happy 1st debut anniversary and congratulations for winning the group’s first Charity Fairy title, with the help of WithU.
December 2 is Niziu’s debut day, and yesterday was their first debut anniversary. WithU, the group’s fandom, helped their idols to win their first CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy title by voting on CHOEAEDOL’s daily chart. NiziU received 75,956,554 votes yesterday, and by receiving more than 55,555,555 votes, they became CHOEAEDOL’s latest Charity Fairy.
Thus, for the first time, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of NiziU.

THE Japanese Girl Group
JYP’s Japanese girl group Niziu has a phenomenal end of the year.
First of all, the group has won the Excellent Work Award in the 63rd Japan Record Awards with the song Take a picture. It is the title track of their single Take a picture / Poppin’ Shakin published last April. Last year, they won the Special Award in the same event and this year, the group was also nominated in the Grand Prix of Japan Record Award. This has shown that not only Niziu is popular among the public, the group is also well recognized by the industry.
Apart from winning awards, Niziu was also invited to perform in the Kōhaku Uta Gassen (NHK Red and White Song Battle). It is the biggest end-of-year music program in Japan. It is NiziU’s second year in a roll participating in the program. This year, they will be representing the red team.
