235th Charity Fairy – Momo
It is finally Momo’s turn as she has won her first CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy title on his birthday, with the help of ONCE.
Yesterday was Momo’s birthday, and ONCE, TWICE’s fandom, helped Momo to be the number one girl idol on CHOEAEDOL’s, a fan-oriented K-pop fandom community application. The fandom achieved that by voting for Momo on her birthday. She received 79,590,005 votes yesterday. And since she received more than 55,555,555 votes on her birthday, Momo has become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Momo.
The final piece of the puzzle is here! With Momo winning her first Charity Fairy title, all TWICE members plus TWICE as a group have all received at least one Charity Fairy title. Congratulations Momo once again on winning her first Charity Fairy title. Also congratulations TWICE and ONCE on unlocking the achievement. It took TWICE 36 Charity Fairy titles to achieve that.
17-song Long Album
Four days before TWICE’s comeback, they have dropped the album sneak peek on their official Youtube channel.
The album is consists of 17 songs, including one CD-only track of the Korean version of their latest English hate, and two digital-only tracks, The Feels, and the remix of the title track of the album, SCIENTIST.
As the title of the album is Formula of Love: O+T=<3, it just sounds right to title the title track SCIENTIST. And as the concept of the album is about TWICE being scientists to figure out the formula of love, it is just brilliant and clever to see the lyricist Sim Eunjee go as far as filling the lyric with sin and cos.
Apart from JYP’s in-house lyricist Sim Eunjee, world-famous producers Tommy Brown and Anne-Marie all took part in making TWICE’s 3rd album.
This time, TWICE members were also heavily involved in writing the lyrics of the tracks. For instance, Dahyun and Nayeon were, respectively wrote the lyrics of CRUEL and F.I.L.A. While Jihyo worked on REAL YOU and CACTUS‘s lyrics. She was also responsible for composing the latter. Another member Chaeyoung took part in writing the Korean lyrics of TWICE’s English track, THE FEELS.
As an album with 17 tracks, we can expect TWICE is going to show the audience a variety of music styles, including Pop, Dance, and Ballard R&B.
In this album we are also going to, for the first time, see TWICE in smaller sub-units. Tree of the tracks, PUSH & PULL, HELLO, and 1, 3, 2, are going to be performed by members in groups of three.
Last but not least, CANDY, the song they performed in their 6th debut anniversary celebration live, is also going to be included in the album.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
