Soodam is the first SECRET NUMBER member to get an individual Charity Fairy title in CHOAEDOL. Congratulations.
Yesterday was Soodam’s birthday. With the love, support, and, of course, vote, from SECRET NUMBER’s fandom, LOCKEY, she came second on CHOEAEDOL’s daily girl idols chart. She received 56,069,788 votes yesterday, and as it was more than 55,555,555 votes, Soodam has become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy.
Thus, CHOEAEDOL is going to, in the name of Soodam, donate ₩500k (USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.
Half a year ago SECRET NUMBER won their first Charity Fairy title on their 1st debut anniversary. Now Soodam is the first member to win the title individually. Congratulations, and we are all looking forward to another SECRET NUMBER’s member becoming our Charity Fairy. In just 11 days the music video of SECRET NUMBER’s latest track, Fire Saturday, Fire Saturday, has recorded five million views on Youtube.
Previously, the music video has achieved the record of the fasting to accumulate 1 million views on the 1theK Youtube channel.
As to allow fans to enjoy the comeback, SECRET NUMBER have prepared two internet challenges surrounding the choreography of the song, namely the kick kick dance and the flapping dance.
The girl group is also doing particularly well in Indonesia, as they are one of the few K-pop girl groups that consist of an Indonesian member, Dita. The song has topped iTunes’s song chart in Indonesia.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
