EXO has once again become CHOEAEDOLs monthly Charity Angel as they have an edged over second-place BTS with a 6-points margin. Congratulations EXO and EXO-L.
We are going to donate, in EXO’s name, donate ₩500k (USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.

EXO and BTS were still on top 2 with 2987 points and 2981 points respectively. MONSTA X climbed one place to third with 2922 points, while TREASURE dropped one place to fourth with 2905 points. At least, Stray Kids joined our top five, came fifth with 2868 points. Congratulations.

An album, and a musical
EXO members are staying busy.
We have talked about this on our blog already but Lay has published his new album, EAST, last Friday.
Including the pre-release track Samadhi Real Fire, the album has four tracks.
Titled Flying Asparas, the title song is about spirits and the desire to move forward to achieve the dream of music. Ascetic Monk is a song about not losing his origins even in the face of trials. The last track, The Shepherd Boy, is an R&B song with a cheerful scene about reaching nirvana and your dreams.
In other news, Chanyeol, alongside L from INFINITE, is going to meet the audience on stage.
They are going to perform in the musical Stop! Listen Here. The musical is produced by the military, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Korea joining the UN. The story is set in Korea and Kamur, an imaginary country where civil war has continued for a long time. Chanyeol is going to be Raman in the musical, a teen from Kamur who went to Korea and wants to find Meisa, a soldier he met in his home country.
As the musical is going to cover different countries in its story, different genres of music are being incorporated, including K-Pop.
The musical is going to be on from October 22 to November 27.
Okay. What is Charity Angel?
Every day, after the voting time (until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced every 11th of the month (for the individual idols, for groups it’s 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced
New reward for the winner of Charity Angel from 2021
Starting from January 2021, Charity Angel rewards will be added~ No only donating to charities in the name of the winner, we will also hang a subway billboard for the Charity angels! For instance, this is the subway billboard ad of our September Charity angel.
