212th Charity Fairy – Rosé
K-Pop superstar, talented singer-songwriter, and global fashion icon Rosé from BLACKPINK has become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy on her 9000th day, on October 2.
It was on that day BLINKs and her fans voted for her and help her to become the top female artist on CHOEAEDOL’s daily chart. She received 58,439,331 votes from fans and it was sufficient to help Rosé to get a Charity Fairy, thus, in her name, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate ₩500k to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.

The Front Line Of The Fashion World
Last Friday, Korean news outlet Chosun Ilbo published an article about BLACKPINK’s presence in the fashion world.
Last September, fashion brand DIOR has finally held its first offline fashion show in two years in Paris, and one of the celebrities who were invited was Jisoo from BLACKPINK.
BLACKPINK’s presence in this fashion world is prominent. In the news article, Chosun Ilbo event went so far as to say BLACKPINK is the true protagonist of the Paris Fashion Week.
And surely they have their points, as even the son of the chairperson of the LVMH Groups, Antoine Arnault, posted a photo with Jisoo on his social media, welcoming Jisoo to the Dior family.
A common feature of fashion shows across different fashion brands is the presence of BLACKPINK members. We could see Jisoo and Jennie at the Chanel show, Rosé at the YSL show, and Lisa as Celine’s global ambassador. And being invited to take the front-row seats has also proved that how the fashion industry acknowledges the influence, taste, and charisma of BLACKPINK.
And finally let’s talk about our Charity Fairy, Rosé. Rosé was invited to participate in the Met Gala held in New York Metropolitan Museum. With her was the Chief Designer from YSL, Anthony Vaccarello. To Rosé and the whole K-Pop industry, it was a special moment, as Rosé and CL are the first two K-Pop artists to attend the Met Gala. And to YSL, Rosé is also a special celebrity, as she is Saint Laurent’s first global ambassador in 59 years. In January, she also became the muse for Yves Saint Laurent Beaute. Rosé has also become the model of Korean fashion brand O!O!COLLECTION, showing her influence both locally and globally
American fashion journal Women’s Wear Daily, often referred to as the “Bible of fashion”, even published an article titled “BLACKPINK Takes Parish Fashion By Storm.”
And indeed it is a spot-on description of BLACKPINK. And just like Son Heung Min in the Premier League, Movie Director Bong Joon-ho in Oscar, BLACKPINK being a global fashion phenomenon is such a proud moment for Koreans.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
