Starbucks
According to Korean news outlet JTBC, Starbucks in Thailand is going to collaborate with BLACKPINK.
The collaboration was well received by fans after several of the product shots, including tumblers and cups, were leaked and posted on the SNS.
According to the report, these products were only available in Thailand. Even though those are not BLACKPINK products per se, this would not decrease their value, especially among BLINKs.
BLACKPINK’s popularity in Thailand is phenomenal, and the obvious reason is of course to have Lalisa Manoban, or Lisa, a Thai member in the team. Korean companies also notice the strength of BLACKPINK.
Previously, Samsung, the largest phone manufacture in Thailand with 31% of the market, heavily leveraged BLACKPINK’s popularity. For instance, they launched a Galaxy A80 Blackpink Special Edition in several Asian countries in 2019.
Okay. What is Charity Angel?
Every day, after the voting time (until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced every 11th of the month (for the individual idols, for groups it’s 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced
New reward for the winner of charity angel from 2021
Starting from January 2021, Charity Angel rewards will be added~ No only donating to charities in the name of the winner, we will also hang a subway billboard for the Charity angels! For instance, this is the subway billboard ad of our May Charity angel.
