175th Charity Fairy – Jungkook
Congratulations Junjkook of BTS for becoming CHOEAEDOL’s 175th Charity Fairy. To celebrate Jungkook’s 8700 days, ARMYs helped Jungkook to rank first on CHOEAEDOL’s daily chart with 61,000,438 hearts, tokens which they earned and collected by using the app. By receiving more than 55,555,555 hearts, the threshold of becoming a Charity Fairy, Jungkook has earned his fourth Charity Fairy title. Thus, in the name of Jungkook, we will donate ₩500(USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. We are happy to see ARMYs engaging in such good deeds like this continuously. Thank you very much, congratulations to Jungkook once again.

The is Jungkook’s fourth time becoming CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy. Thank you ARMYs for always being just a supportive group towards BTS, and congratulations to Jungkook once again.
Records are just mere numbers
Jungkook, and his solo song Euphoria, are breaking records on the international stage.
The song, released in August 2018 with the BTS album Love Yourself: Answer, has recorded 246 million streaming counts on Spotify. This is the highest among male artists from Korea.
On Billboard, the song has stayed on the World Digital Song Sales chart for 70 weeks, this is also the longest among Korean idols. The song has also been ranked first for the longest period on the chart among all the K-Pop solo songs that are currently charting on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
Alongside that, #Jungkook has also become the first individual hashtag on Tik Tok with 55 billion views.
On a side note, as a collective achievement among Jungkook and other BTS members, the McDonald Celebrity Signature menu crossing over with BTS has recorded, domestically, over 1.2 million sets sold within 21 days (Note: I personally contributed 2 sets.) This is a phenomenal number as it is known that the BTS doesn’t include anything from McDonald’s main menu, and instead only consists of items from the side menu, namely the McNugget and chips.
BTS is about breaking records. And we hope we can see Jungkook and BTS breaking more records in different categories, and show the world the magic of K-Pop.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
