171st Charity Fairy – Kim Wooseok
Congratulations to Kim Wooseok for becoming CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy on his 9000 days, as Nias celebrated Kim Wooseok’s special day. They contributed hearts they have earned on CHOEAEDOL and in the end, 58,381,267 hearts were cast for Kim Wooseok. It passes the 55,555,555 thresholds and thus Kim Wooseok has become CHOEAEDOL’s 171st Charity Fairy. Thus, in the name of Kim Wooseok, we will donate ₩500(USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. This is his fifth time becoming CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy, thanks to all the Nias who voted for him tirelessly. Congratulations, and we hope to see more from you all and Kim Wooseok.

A Surprise Message
Even though Kim Wooseok is temporarily focusing on his solo activities, on June 14, the day when UP10TION released their 2nd album [CONNECTION], Kim Wooseok surprised everyone by preparing a video message for his fellow members.
During the “UP10TION 2ND ALBUM [CONNECTION] SHOWCASE”, members of UP10TION by the video messages from their fellow groupmates Kim Wooseok and Lee Jinhyuk. They both currently are focusing on their solo activities.
In his video message, Kim Wooseok starts by congratulating his fellow UP10TION members for releasing their 2nd album.
“I am also nervous,” said Kim Wooseok, “since it is the first full album for some time.”
“It would be nice if the comeback goes well.
“Since a lot of you have been involved in the making of the album, actually some of you have let me listen to the album, and I think it is pretty good. And it is great the album is going to be on stream sites.
“Hope this is going to be a good album.
“Please do well in this comeback. I hope we can meet up again sooner and have some fun. Fighting!”
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
