157th Charity Fairy – Jin
Congratulations Jin of BTS to become CHOEAEDOL’s 157th Charity Fairy. To celebrate Jin’s 10400 days, ARMYs voted him on May 25. In the end, he gained 59,597,469 votes and came first in that day’s chart. Subsequently, he has crowned as our latest Charity Fairy. ₩500(USD 440) will be donated in the name of Jin to MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. We are happy to see ARMYs talking parts in this charitable act. Thank you very much for all your participation. And once again, congratulations to Jin.

For ARMYs, there must be so many things to celebrate lately. Apart from Jin’s 10400 days, BTS’s latest hit “Butter” is achieving superb result both domestically and internationally.
First and for most, BTS has won the quadruple in the Billboard Music Awards as they have crowned the Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist and Top Selling Song. Personally, Jin has also become the most mentioned person on social media during the ceremony according to NetBase Quid, an American consumer and market research platform.
And not only their newly released song is topping the charts of all major streaming sites in Korea, but the song is also ranked first in the iTunes charts of 101 countries and regions.
Particularly in Japan, Butter has topped the Oricon Weekly Digital Single Chart and BTS has become the first artist who has 3 songs to record over 10 million weekly streaming count.
On YouTube, Butter’s MV has recorded the most view count in the first 24 hours among all MV in that platform. It only took 13 minutes for the MV to gain 10 million views, and 100 million views in 21 hours. In the end, it achieved 108.2 million views in the first 24 hours and 200 million views in 4 days.
On Spotify, the song was streamed 20.9 million times in the first 24 hours after its release. This is a record-breaking number in terms of the most streamed song in a day.
After their least global hit Dynamite, surely Butter is the song that’s going to help BTS and ARMY to write the new chapter of their history-breaking journey.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
