First time after 6 years – MONSTA X is our 153rd Charity Fairy

153rd Charity Fairy – MONSTA X

Congratulations MONSTA X as they have become CHOEAEDOL’s Charity Fairy for the very first time. To celebrate MONSTA X’s 6th debut anniversary on May 14, Monbebe voted their idol on CHOEAEDOL and at the end, helped MONSTA X secured 58,938,980 votes and thus made MONSTA X become CHOEAEDOL’s 153rd Charity Fairy. Notably, this is the very time MONSTA X becoming our Charity Fairy, thus this is also the very first time we donating money in MONSTA X’s name. ₩500(USD 440) will be donated to MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. A Happy 6th Anniversary Week

To celebrate their 6^th debut anniversary, MONSTA X held a small party and shared it with fans Monbebe through V LIVE, and they must be happy to see Shownu, Monsta X’s leader who is undergoing temporary hiatus, also participated.

In the live broadcast, Shownu told their audience that he is healthy as he visited the hospital a few days ago and was told that he got a lot better. However, sadly, Shownu would not be able to participate in the upcoming comeback with the rest of the MONSTA X.

Even though they did not spoiled many details of their upcoming comeback, on the same day, the tracklist of their upcoming comeback “One Of A Kind” was released.

The new album is going to consist of 7 tracks, and as a continuation of what always been done, MONSTA X’s members have been seen heavily involved in the production of this album. For instance, Joohoney is going to drop his first title song “Gambler” under his name since his debut. At the same time, I.M, alongside Joohoney, has involved in the productions of all six songs. Hyungwon also has worked on two of the six songs, “Secrets” and “BEBE”.

There are more things to celebrate too, as MONSTA X is proving their popularity in Japan by topping both the Billboard Japan weekly chart and Japan Tower Records weekly chart with their latest Japanese album Flavors of love.

Let’s see whether MONSTA X could continue their momentum, and also wish Shownu all the best in his recovery.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.

To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
