140th Charity Fairy – Irene
Congratulation to singer and now actress Irene to become the 140th Charity Fairy of CHOEAEDOL. To celebrate Irene’s birthday, ReVeluvs had voted for Irene and at the end Irene has received 64,911,666 hearts from ReVeluvs and thus becoming the 140th Charity Fairy of CHOEAEDOL. ₩500(USD $440) will be donated to MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. This is Irene’s very first time becoming our Charity Fairy. We welcome Irene to be one part of our Charity Fairies. Thank you ReVeluvs for making this happen.

Seat B3: The Bae of March
Lately, Irene has been very active on big and small screens. Not only participating in the production of the web drama “Female Staffs in Game Company”, but she is also featuring in the movie “Double Patty”.
To support Irene and independent movie, Two Irene’s fan pages/clubs, on Irene’s birthday, have sponsor a seat and name a seat in indiespace, Korean first civilian-run cinema that dedicate to independent movie. To raise fund for the cinema and encourage the public to support independent movies, indispace allows the public to sponsor their seats for 2 million won. DC Irene and 자꾸생각나 (Twitter @thinkB329) has co-sponsor the B3 seat of the cinema in the name of Irene. They have picked B3 because of Irene’s birthday month (March) and her surname (Bae).
It is always encouraging to see different fandoms doing such meaningful things for the society, whether it is donation to charity or sponsoring independent movie industry.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
