134th Charity Fairy – Mina
Congratulation Mina as she has become CHOEAEDOL’s 134th Charity Fairy, thanks to ONCE voting for her on her birthday on March 24. To celebrate #BlackSwanMinaDay, ONCE on CHOEAEDOL has voted using their hearts they have saved up, and with 84,805,477 hearts, Mina ranked first on that day’s chart and also became or Charity Fairy. ₩500k ($440) will thus be donated to charity in the name of Mina. Kura Kura
On Mar 6, TWICE held their Japanese online live concert “TWICE in Wonderland”. At the end of the event, TWICE announced that they are going to released their new Japanese album on May 12.
Titled “Kura Kura”, the representative producer Park Jinyoung, JYP himself, would be writing the lyrics for this album. This single is going to be about the emotion of a couple who falls into the world of their own like magic when they meet each other the first time.
Fans, critics and the public are having high expectation, as all 10 albums they have released in Japan so far have become platinum titles and in total, more than 4.22 million albums has been sold in Japan. While in Korea, they have accumulated a whopping 5.93 million albums sold from “The Story Begins” to “Eyes Wide Open”.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
