To celebrate Ha Sungwoon’s birthday on On March 22, his fans, HA:NEULs, has gathered in CHOEAEDOL and gave their hearts. With 60,619,035 hearts (votes) in total, they helped Ha Sungwoon to top our boy idols ranking on that day and also allowed Ha Sungwoon to become our Charity Fairy. ₩500k ($440) will thus be donated to charity in the name of Ha Sungwoon. Always Be Happy
On his birthday, HA:NEUL has prepared a surprise for Ha Sungwoon as they have aired an over-the-air TV advertisement for him. The title of the advertisement was “Always be happy HASUNGWOON”, as fans would like to wish him a happily ever after.
This is a rare occasion, as usually fans would prepare subway ads or outdoor ads to celebrate their idols’ birthdays. It is less common to see fans preparing TV ads. According to news reports, this is the first time as a birthday celebratory ad being aired in over-the-air TV broadcast.
This ad was first aired on Mar 20 in MBC before and after its music program “Show! Music Core”. It was also aired on 21st and 22nd, his birthday, in Mnet during programs such as M Countdown, TMI News, and MPD Music Talk, in total 15 times.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
