65th Charity Angel – KANG DANIEL
Kang Daniel is our 65th CHOEAEDOL Charity Angel and has ranked No. 1 among K-Pop male idols for more than a year in CHOEAEDOL. What is magnificent achievement this is as everyone in the office are all amazed, and this can be only achieved by every DANITY participating hard in CHOEAEDOL. Congratulations to Kang and DANITY.

Kang Daniel got 2997 points and ranked 1st. Jimin of BTS was in second with 2938 points and in third place was V of BTS with 2899 points. Forth was shared by Jungkook and Jin of BTS with both reaching 2852 points.
Donation History of Kang Daniel
Kang Daniel is our best donor of all time. The total amount donated in the name of Kang Daniel is 33,000,000 KRW(USD$30,000). This is the 66th time of donation on behalf of him and he is our 35-times Charity Angel. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to Kang and every DAINTY involved to make this happen.
PARANOIA
It is a good timing for Kang to become this month’s Charity Angel because he is going to drop his new digital single “PARANOIA”. At the time of writing, Kang has released the final teaser before the comeback on 16th February.
This comeback is going to be focusing on the inner side of him, as this time Kang oversees the lyrics of “PARANOIA”. In that Kang is going to tell us more about his inner struggle, in contrast to the glamorous stages of his in the past.
The MV is also going to be something else, with high anticipation of blockbuster level MV with a heavy focus on cinema looks with overwhelming sensations. Of course, we are also looking forward to interpretations from our fellow DAINTY. We would love you all to tag on twitter.
This time, Kang Daniel has joined forced again with Inverness and Anthony Russo. They have previously worked on Kang’s 2020 EP “Magneta”. Kang was also featured in Inverness “State of Wonder”. We can’t wait to listen to their latest project “PARANOIA”.
Last but not least, we are also expecting top-notch dance performance from Kang Daniel and his fellow dancers. Since this time “PARANOIA” is going to show us the inner side of Kang, we are curious to see how that could be presented by the spectacular choreography.
Okay. What is Charity Angel?
Every day, after the voting time (until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99 points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel is announced. The idol who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are selected and announced on every 11th of the month (for the individual idols, for groups its 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced.
New reward for the winner of charity angel from 2021
Starting from January 2021, Charity Angel rewards will be added~ No only donating to charities in the name of the winner, we will also hang a subway billboard for the Charity angels! For instance, this is the subway billboard ad of our January Charity angels.
