January 17 was Kang Daniel’s 9900 days, so DANITYs celebrated his anniversary by voting for him and helping him become the number one on the CHOEAEDOL daily rankings! He received 56,715,592 votes on that day. It was more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold. This is Kang Daniel’s 52nd Charity Fairy title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL will make a donation of ₩500,000 on behalf of Seungkwan to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity organisation that comprehensively deals with problems related to disabilities that may occur in a wide range of social areas, including physical and mental disabilities. From May to June, the donation will be used for people with audiovisual disabilities. The donation will be used for customized education, independent living support, network building and awareness raising projects so that people with audiovisual disabilities can come out of the world.

On January 14, Kang Daniel held Japan Showcase 2024 [RE8EL] in Osaka. Kang Daniel performed amazing stages for DANITY.
On January 2, the 33rd Seoul Music Awards took place at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, marking the first time that the annual ceremony was held outside of South Korea. Kang Daniel won the Bonsang (Main Award) at the SMA 2023!

So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy will be given to the idol who receives more than 55,555,555 daily votes in the CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only those idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback day and debut anniversary) during the month can compete for the title of Charity Fairy.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we will donate 500,000 KRW in their name. You will see the donation certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
