489th Charity Fairy – Jin
Happy 11200th day, Jin! Congratulations on winning his 14th CHOEAEDOL Charity Fairy on his anniversary. Shout out to Jin and ARMY!
August 3 was Jin’s 11200th day, so ARMY celebrated his anniversary by voting and helping him to become the number one male solo artist on our daily rankings! He received 56,366,439 votes on August 3. It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Jin has received his 14th title from CHOEAEDOL. Congratulations again 🥳
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Jin. From May to June, the donation is going to be used for people with audiovisual disabilities. The donation will be used for customized education, support for independent living, network construction, and awareness improvement projects so that the people with audiovisual disabilities can come out of the world.

Jin’s army training began on December 13, 2022. Five weeks of training must be completed prior to military service. Jin will return on 13th of June 2024. However, Jin prepared various contents every month for fans who waited for Jin while he was in the army!
Jin posted photos on Weverse with the message “Seungyoon, congratulations on your graduation. It was fun for 6 weeks. (The cool vocalist of the group WINNER) You might have a hard time living as a trainee, and hope you live well even at the base. I wanted you to see ARMY and Inner Circle and like them.”

So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
