July 18 was Taemin’s 30th birthday, so SHINee WORLDs celebrated his birthday by voting and helping him to become the number one solo male artist on our daily rankings! He received 101,283,586 votes on July 18. Taemin received the most votes in July based on today! It was way more than 55,555,555 votes, which is our Charity Fairy threshold, Taemin has received his 2nd title from CHOEAEDOL.
Subsequently, CHOEAEDOL is going to make a ₩500k donation to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities, in the name of Taemin. In July, the donation is going to be used for Ukrainian refugees.
It seems like SHINee WORLD always continues to support SHINEE passionately. We are so grateful to see SHINee WORLD supporting their idols using CHOEAEDOL! In the Military
Taemin has enlisted in the military. He will be discharged from military next March. And it’s been over a year since he enlisted, but the military couldn’t stop Taemin’s love for SHINee WORLD.
He posted on his Instagram story to thank you for all birthday wishes! It seems that he always think about SHINee WORLD.
And he uploaded a dance practice video for fans who are waiting for him. SHINee WORLDs were touched by his thoughtful heart♡ Can’t wait to see him on the stage after he comes out of the military! Hope Taemin and SHINee WORLDs can stay healthy until then and wait for SHINEE together 🙂

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.
