198th Charity Fairy – Hui
Pentagon leader and multi-talented musician Hui celebrated his 29th birthday last Saturday, and Universe, Pentagon’s fans, celebrated that by helping Hui to become our 198th Charity Fairy. They have done that through voting for him in CHOEAEDOL, and with 84,251,644 votes, Hui topped our daily chart on Saturday and become our Charity Fairy.
To celebrate that, CHOEAEDOL is going to donate, in Hui’s name, ₩500k (USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities.
This is Hui’s first Charity Fairy title, and also the first member from Pentagon to become a Charity Fairy. Congratulations. Multi-talented Musician
Even though Hui is currently serving in the military, and we definitely miss him a lot, as he is working as social work personnel instead of in the armed force, we can still see him working on his music.
Even though he was enlisted last February, as he finished his basic training and became serving as social work personnel, he has been still keeping on working on his music production.
For instance, he sang the song IMAGINE for JTBC’s drama Monthly Managzine Home. He was also involved in the production of CIX’s latest digital signal TESSERACT.
Pentagon’s fans UNIVERSE must be sad not to be able to see Hui joining their comeback last March, however, they must be delighted to see Hui participated in the recording and filming of the album. The album Love or Take also features a Hui solo title Boy in time.
UNIVERSE and Hui’s fans also show their love for Hui by displaying a multimedia advertisement on the wall of the Lotte Young Plaza in Myeongdong, celebrating Hui’s 29th birthday.
There is still more than a year left before Hui finishes his compulsory military service. We hope Hui is going to be safe and healthy.

The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
