176th Charity Fairy – Seulgi
Congratulations Seulgi for being CHOEAEDOL’s 176th Charity Fairy. To celebrate Seulgi’s 10000 days on June 27, ReVeluvs contributed the hearts they have earned on CHOEAEDOL to help Seulgi to become the first on our daily chart. In the end, Seulgi has received 56,270,147 hearts and, by surpassing the threshold of 55,555,555, become CHOAEDOL’s 176th Charity Fairy. In the name of Seulgi, we will donate ₩500(USD 440) to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation, a Korean charity that comprehensively handles problems related to disabilities that may be revealed in a wide range of the social spectrum, including physical and mental disabilities. Trying Different Things
While ReVeluvs are waiting for Red Velvet’s comeback, members of Red Velvet are not taking breaks.
For example, Joy has just had her solo comeback, and Yeri’s web drama “Blue Birthday” is going to be on air later next month.
And our Charity Fairy, Seulgi, is also venturing into different activities.
Firstly, Seulgi has become the host of Naver NOW.’s new radio show, Seulgi.zip. It is a new radio show airing every Tuesday and Thursday. For every week, Seulgi will invite different guests to her shows. For instance, Seulgi invited aespa to the first episode of the show. She also invited her fellow member, Joy, too.
This is Seulgi’s first time being a solo host of a show. She talked about her feeling in the first episode, saying that she took vitamins so to calm herself, but she was more nervous than she thought. She also spent some time explaining the name of the show, saying that she would show the audience different sides of her, just like uncompressing a zip file.
Another project Seulgi is involving is her collaboration with NCT Taeyoung. In early June, Taeyoung released his new solo song Rose featuring Seulgi. Later that month, Seulgi posted a dancing video of her dancing to NCT U’s Make a wish with none other than Taeyoung. Seulgi also said that she learned the steps directly from Taeyoung himself.
ReVeluvs will be waiting for Red Velvet’s next comeback on August, but surly they must be happy to see Seulgi is doing fine and dipping her toes into different activities.
So, what is Charity Fairy? and what is with the donation?
The title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received over 55,555,555 daily votes in CHOEAEDOL app during the whole month. Only the idols who have anniversaries (e.g. birthday, comeback and debut anniversary) during the month could challenge for the Charity Fairy title.
To honour the Charity Fairies, we donate 500k KRW in the name of the Charity Fairies. You will see the Donation Certificate within 2-3 weeks of the announcement on our Twitter.

You can vote hearts that is freely given every day or that you can earn through various routes (receiving from the CHOEAEDOL friends, posting some images or schedules of your idol, clicking surprise heart boxes, etc.)
Apart from that, CHOEAEDOL also heavily involved in charity, by make donating on behalf of idols. CHOEAEDOL ‘s donation amount is over 240 million KRW (200,000 USD). Come rank your idol to a higher place and participate in good action at the same time.
