63rd CHOEAEDOL Charity Angel – BTS
BTS is the 63rd Charity angel of December 2020. This time, BTS earned 2987 points from Nov 16 to Dec 15, 2020. This is the second Charity Angel of BTS in 2020 since EXO got the throne on last year. Army managed to get back their Charity Angel throne. This time there is an exciting competition between them. There is only a 4 points difference between them!
EXO, the previous winner of the Charity angel on October got 2983 points and GOT7 got 2929 points and ranked third. Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN ranked on the 4th and the 5th, respectively.

TIME Magazine Entertainer of the Year – BTS
BTS named “entertainer of the year” by US TIME magazine. BTS released two songs this year which is “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On”. Both two songs top on Billboard’s main singles chart, the Hot 100. They are the first Korean idol to get great success not only in the US but all over the world. The group has also been nominated for the Grammy Award for best pop duo/group performance.
Okay. What is Charity Angel?
Every day, after the voting time(until 23:30 KST), the rankings are arranged and the person who became the first in the daily rankings gets 100 points, and the second gets 99points, 98 for the third, and so on. All these points are accumulated for 30 days until the 10th of every month, the day before the Individual Charity Angel announcement. The person who gets the most votes becomes the Charity Angel of that month. When Charity Angels are settled and announced on every 11th of the month(for the individual idols, for groups its 16th), 500k KRW is donated to charity organizations. In a few days, Charity Angel for the groups will be announced.
